Purpose

To identify, assess and manage risks to the Foundation’s mission, beneficiaries, assets, people and reputation.

Key commitments

  • A risk register covers strategic, financial, legal, safeguarding, operational, data, reputational and continuity risks.
  • Each risk has an owner, a likelihood and impact rating, controls and mitigation actions.
  • The Board sets risk appetite and ensures key risks are actively controlled.
  • Business-continuity arrangements — succession, backups, reserves, insurance and an emergency plan — keep operations resilient.
